Liliana joined SDDirect as a Programmes Officer in January 2020 and has worked on projects with a focus on the GBV, Women’s Economic Empowerment and Inclusive Public Services portfolios.
She is the Helpdesk Coordinator for the GBV AoR Helpdesk, run by Social Development Direct on behalf of the GBV Area of Responsibility (AoR) and funded by UNICEF. Her portfolio of projects also includes the DFID funded CiG Myanmar and CiG Zambia, the Implementation Guide on the UN Prevention Framework for Violence against Women and DFID’s LINKS – Powering Economic Growth in Northern Nigeria”. In her role, Liliana is responsible for effective end-to-end programme coordination and support, including budget management and financial reporting, operational and administrative support, client liaison, and effective cross-team collaboration.
Liliana graduated from MSc in International Business and Development where she carried out a qualitative research on the role of institutional environment in the emerging businesses ecosystem in Santa Fe, Argentina, for which she was awarded distinction. Prior to joining SDDirect, Liliana worked in various project-related roles and has completed formal project management foundational training in PRINCE2 and AgilePM methodologies.
She is passionate about Latin-American culture and speaks fluent Spanish.
