Jummai is an independent consultant working with SDDirect on the Engaged Citizens Pillar - PERL programme.

Jummai joined SDDirect working in Nigeria with the DFID funded PERL - Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn. As the Strategic Gender Adviser, her role is mainly to serve as the conduit for SDDirect technical support to the Engaged Citizens Pillar of the programme (ECP).  Working closely with the ECP in-house Diversity and Inclusion Adviser, Jummai reaches PERL’s Delivery Teams in seven locations across the country,  with  support on Gender, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Together with the ECP Adviser, Jummai has helped embed within the programme, the Gender, Diversity and Inclusion framework, developed by SDDirect. This now serves as an important guide for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluating ECP interventions.

She has helped set up new programmes contributing to starting and consolidating working relationships vital for the success of particularly donor supported programmes.
