Beatriz Esteves is responsible for managing the Work Opportunities for Women (WOW) Helpdesk.
Since joining SDDirect in 2016, Beatriz has worked across a wide range of thematic areas, in over 20 different projects of varying sizes and complexities, including ongoing DFID funded programmes as the Girls Education Programme (GEC) and EARF – Shaping Eastern African Cities in Systems that Work Better for All; and historic programmes as the Infrastructure and Cities for Economic Development (ICED), La Pepiniere and Voices for Change; she has also worked with private sector and non-HMG clients as ADB, EBRD, World Bank amongst others.
In her role Beatriz is responsible for ongoing, end to end effective project management, and delivery of programmes outputs in line with value for money principles, overseeing project workplans, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and establish effective working relationships.
Prior to joining SDDirect, Beatriz has worked with NGO’s globally, for instance as Project Coordinator in Mozambique on the Energy and Environment Partnerships Programme with Southern and Eastern Africa. She has a wealth of project management experience, currently holds a PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate and a Business Accounting certificate with CIMA.
