Manjola is an SDDirect Senior Associate and education sector and youth specialist with over 20 years experience in formal and non-formal education in conflict, post-conflict and natural disaster-affected countries, in Asia, Africa and Balkans. She has particular expertise in teacher education and curriculum development. Manjola has extensive experience in assessment, programme development, proposal writing (technical and commercial elements), programme implementation, capacity building and monitoring and evaluation. She has played a leading role on Inclusion and Gender for DFID’s Education Sector Support Programme (ESSPIN) in Nigeria working closely for seven years with the state government, civil society organisations to reach the Education for All goals. In her role she has conducted training of trainers, awareness raising workshops, capacity building activities, teacher training and designed the necessary training materials on Inclusive Education, Gender Equity and Protective Learning Environments in Schools (Focusing on Gender Based Violence). She was previously the Lead Education Advisor for the fragile states for two years the DFID-funded Girl’s Education Challenge Fund.
