SDDirect has an extensive network made up of around 100 social development professionals with skills, expertise and experience in a wide range of thematic and geographical areas.
SDDirect network members are carefully selected to ensure that we work with highly qualified professionals who share our values and approaches and high levels of professionalism. Consultants who approach SDDirect to become network members go through an assessment process including an interview, review of work and take up of references. On early consultancy assignments network consultants will be supported by an in-house member of staff who will provide peer support and quality assurance.
In developing our network we have brought into the organisation individual consultants and researchers who deepen and broaden our skills and experience. The current network is made up of around 100 consultants from the fields of social development, gender, governance, conflict and peace building, migration, human rights, and political science, amongst others.
The network is international with members from countries across the north and south. Through the network, Social Development Direct can respond quickly to provide international as well as local social development professionals for specific assignments.
