OUT NOW: Latest edition of Adolescence Research Digest

We are delighted to share the ninth edition of the Adolescence Research Digest; with the latest research, resources, upcoming events and news on adolescent well-being. This quarterly publication is produced by Social Development Direct and UNICEF’s Office of Research-Innocenti.

This edition resulted from the collaboration of various SDDirect researchers including Erika FraserAnna ParkeVeronica Martinez Tamayo and Emma Haegeman.

Key themes this edition are health and development interventions in adolescent sexual and reproductive health, empowerment, and protection from violence. This Digest also includes a selection of interesting research studies from international peer reviewed journals, evaluation reports, systematic reviews, as well as toolkits, resources, policy news, and conferences.

A PEEK INSIDE THIS EDITION:

  • Editorial from Chandra-Mouli Venkatraman, from the World Health Organisation’s Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Department of Reproductive Health and Research/Human Reproduction Programme
  • New Lancet commentaries on Children’s rights and social media
  • Call to Action on Protecting Children on the Move Starts with Better Data
  • Landmark collection of reviews and other articles from Nature on Coming of Age: The Emerging Science of Adolescence, which explores the emerging science of adolescence through multiple lenses, from neuroscience to policy and clinical medicine.
  • This Digest also includes a selection of interesting research studies from international peer reviewed journals, evaluation reports, systematic reviews, as well as toolkits, resources, policy news, and conferences.
