OUT NOW: Latest edition of Adolescence Research Digest

We are delighted to share the sixth edition of the Adolescence Research Digest; with the latest research, resources, upcoming events and news on adolescent well-being. This quarterly publication is produced by Social Development Direct and UNICEF’s Office of Research-Innocenti.

This edition resulted from the collaboration of various SDDirect researchers including Erika Fraser, Anna Parke, Ines Silva and Emma Haegeman.

Key themes this edition are investing in adolescent health and gender sensitive programming. This Digest also includes a selection of interesting research studies from international peer reviewed journals, evaluation reports, systematic reviews, as well as toolkits, resources, policy news, and conferences.

A PEEK INSIDE THIS EDITION:

  • A new series of briefs on how to conduct research with adolescents has been launched by UNICEF-Innocenti. They cover a range of topics including indicators and data sources, ethics, research with vulnerable groups; and participatory research.
  • New UNICEF campaign alerts for risks refugee and migrant children face, including sexual violence, exploitation, abuse and detention. 
  • Call to Action on Violence and Child Pregnancy in Latin America and the Caribbean
  • Latest findings on youth and violent extremism in Morocco
  • This Digest also includes a selection of interesting research studies from international peer reviewed journals, evaluation reports, systematic reviews, as well as toolkits, resources, policy news, and conferences.
