Business Development Manager
Sarah has a Masters degree in International Development with a focus on Economics and Research Methods from Sciences Po, Paris and Joined SDDirect in December 2017 as Business Development Manager. Sarah manages business development opportunities for SDDirect across a range of clients and portfolios, working closely with technical team members to ensure the submission of high quality proposals and fostering partnerships with new partners, clients and consultants. Sarah joined SDDirect from Adam Smith International, where she managed economic development and market systems programmes in Sierra Leone, DRC and Jordan, Prior to this, she was a Policy Consultant at the OECD working on women’s economic empowerment in the MENA region, before which she managed capacity building projects win Burkina Faso for Action pour l’enfance et la Santé, a public health NGO working with community-based organisations to support those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Sarah brings business development and programme management experience, as well as knowledge of economic development approaches and research. She is a fluent French speaker and in her spare time is an avid reader and traveller.
