Our Partners

SDDirect works in partnership with a diverse range of international, regional and local organisations that complement our own areas of expertise

INCLUSIVE, OPEN AND TRANSPARENT PARTNERSHIPS THAT PROVIDE VOICE, AGENCY & IMPACT

SDDirect believes strongly in the power of partnerships and collaboration – and almost everything we do entails partnership working, both as a lead organisation and as a supporting partner.

To achieve maximum impact, SDDirect works in partnership with a diverse range of international, regional and local organisations that complement our own areas of expertise. Our partners include donors, development agencies, international and national NGOs, think tanks, academic and research institutions, other consultancy firms and private sector organisations. We aim to work with partners who share our commitment to inclusion and equality, and who are committed to robust relationships based on common vision, dialogue and trust.

Our experience of working in consortia on many projects has equipped us with a good understanding of the dynamics of effective implementation partnerships. We are guided by a core set of principles for collaboration around relationship-building, nurturing trust from the outset, inclusive dialogue and decision-making, transparency and accountability, effective communication and information sharing, and effective use of partners’ skills, capacities and experience.

In the larger world of development, we seek to nurture inclusive partnerships that give voice and influence to the people we aim to empower – poor and marginalised people, community beneficiaries and citizens on the frontline of struggles for equitable development.

Partnership opportunities:  We are always keen to meet likeminded organisations seeking opportunities to work with us. If you would like to find out more about us and explore opportunities for collaboration, please contact us.
